After the soul-touching positive vibes experience, the black community was blessed with from the Queens of Neo-Soul Jill Scott and Erykah Badu, next up in the Verzuz battle line up is none other than butter pecan sexy ass Nelly and Atl’s heartthrob own Ludacris.
Ludacris and Nelly are both multi-platinum selling artists and were dominant forces in the hip-hop scene at the start of the century.
Nelly garnered nine Top 10 Billboard hits, including two number 1 hits with his duet with former Destiny’s Child member, Kelly Rowland “Dilemma” and “Hot in Herre” in 2002.
Luda’s first number one spot on Billboards list was in 2003 with the single “Stand Up, and in 2004 was featured on Usher’s “Yeah!”
Many fans are taking to Twitter after news of the Nelly and Ludacris battle immediately caused fans to take to social media and post their predictions and funny memes about how they’re coming prepared for the IG Live or who’s side they’re on.
Ludacris and Nelly are expected to go song for song on IG Live Saturday, May 16th.
