Andre Harrell, a veteran in the music business as a music exec and Vice Chairman of Revolt, Combs’ multi-platform music network, has died. He was 59. There hasn't yet been an official statement released or an official cause of death from Harrell's family or representatives.

Harrell is credited with discovering Queen of hip hop soul Mary J. Blige, Heavy D, and R&B heartthrobs Jodeci.

Harrell was also a producer for movies and tv. Best known for his hit 90’s television show, New York Undercover, and movies Strictly Business and Honey.

Andre Harrell’s best notoriety was the man who famously fired Sean “Diddy” Combs and helped turn him into the music mogul he is today.
